Museum card “Paseo del Arte” (Paseo del Arte Pass) gives you the possibility to visit the most famous museums of Madrid (Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and Queen Sophia Museum) with a single ticket. It is valid for 12 months from the date of acquisition. Note that you should save the ticket, as you must show it at the entrance to each of the three museums. You can choose whether to visit all three museums in one day or one every month, etc. The main thing is to meet the deadline. The date you indicate at the time of booking is the day when you can exchange the coupon for the tickets by visiting one of three museums.

Prado Museum

Using the museum card “Paseo del Arte”, you’ll be able to visit certain temporary exhibitions that take place in Prado Museum. Prado is one of the best museums in the world, where you can admire the pictures of famous Spanish artists (El Greco, Velasquez and Goya), the representatives of the Flemish and Dutch art (Rembrandt, Rubens and Bosch). The collection of museum includes about 8000 pictures and 400 sculptures. Therefore, it has the largest number of the works of art. Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum also forms the part of the “Golden Triangle of Art” together with Queen Sophia Museum and Prado Museum. Before its official opening in 1992, the museum collection was considered the largest private collection. Numerous works of art of the museum cover about 800 years of the art history and different styles- from baroque to impressionism. The museum features the works of such genius artists as Rubens, Carpaccio, Van Gogh, etc.

Queen Sophia Museum

Using the museum card “Paseo del Arte”, you’ll be able to visit certain temporary exhibitions that take place in Queen Sophia Museum. The main part of collection of Queen Sophia Museum is the artworks of the XX century. The official opening of Queen Sophia took place in the second half of 1992. The museum collection includes the works of such great artists as Dali, Miro and González, but the main attraction is, of course, “Guernica” of Pablo Picasso.

You can use this card only at the ticket office of Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. Please note that the ticket office is closed on Monday, as this is the day of free visit to the museum (12:00-16:00).
