Rest on the Costa Blanca

The Spanish name “Costa Blanca” has a very romantic translation – “white coast”. It attracts about five million tourists from all over the world every year. It has everything for a perfect rest: comfortable hotels, excellent beaches and warm sea. Even in winter, the temperature doesn’t drop below 20 degrees, and the water warms up to 14 °С, and in summer the hot sun warms the air to 33 °С, and the sea – to 30 °С.
Several tourist centers are located on the shores of Valencia, whose total area is 500 km. The most northern resort is a “Shore with an orange fragrance” – Costa del Azahar. It is followed by two resort areas: Costa de Valencia and Costa Blanca. The latter is famous for a resort town of Benidorm, beloved by the native Spaniards. This fishing city quickly became the largest tourist complex of Spain. Famous amusement park, modern hotels, popular beaches allowed this city to win the title of the “tourist phenomenon of the continent”. The cultural life of Barcelona never stops. 6-km boardwalk includes a lot of bars, supermarkets and restaurants and, most importantly, the beaches of Costa Blanca.

The tourist Mecca is the park “Terra Mitica”, located near Benidorm. You should visit it to plunge into the culture of ancient Mediterranean civilizations.
Another resort town, Altea, is famous for its ancient architecture. Famous painters, who came there for permanent residence in 1950, is the pride of the local residents. They have literally transformed the city, decorated the old buildings and created a lot of art galleries, very popular among the tourits.
One of the most beautiful resorts of Costa Blanca is a small village of Villajoyosa. As well as the other fishing villages, this place has quickly adapted to the current trends and became a popular tourist centers. The city’s infrastructure is famous for its unique buildings and surrounding nature. It has a sports complex, where you can do different kinds of water sports.
You can note a well-functioning transport links between all cities. The journey through all resorts of Costa Blanca is relatively cheap. It allows you to enjoy the view of surroundings from the bus. One thing for sure: such rest will leave positive impressions for a very long time.
